I picked up this Mondo print of Bela Lugosi as Dracula by Jason Edmiston, so I figured I should rewatch Dracula.
I'm pretty sure I watched this one last year too. The early Universal Monster movies are great pieces of filmmaking and this one still holds up for the most part.
This is basically another of those films I will do a disservice by writing about...we all know it's special. Just watch it.

If you like the English-language version, seriously, check out the Spanish Language version. Filmed by night on the same sets, it's an alternate reality version of Dracula more focused on Renfield and a little more sexed up. Mostly, the camera work is better. You can tell the spanish-language crew watched the day-crew and were thinking "man, we can do better than THAT".
