I feel like I'm not all that in to most of the more recent horror films, I feel like they all went down a path I didn't really care about. But so far this year I've come across several that I've dug. Hush is kinda a standard slasher/invasion film, but the final girl is deaf. This adds a whole new dimension to the story.
The way they handle her deafness is fairly interesting, and it really adds to the terror. Towards the end it does go a bit wonky, but overall I dug it.
